About Us
Bus World
Bus World was set up early in 2004 and already boasts a large collection of vehicles, most of which are in private ownership. It is our intention to build up an extensive and representative collection of both local and worldwide buses. Already a number of non-British buses have been secured and we would particularly welcome any such buses to the museum.
Membership
Membership of Bus World currently stands at £15 per year or £10 per year for concessions. Vehicle storage is £30 per month payable by Direct Debit and there are still some parking spaces available, though these are fast becoming limited. Membership entitles you to join any of the bus trips we make through the year and we invite you to come along on Sundays to help restore any of the exhibits which are being worked on - whether or not you have any experience you are most welcome. We also publish a regular newsletter which features bus profiles, reviews and competitions together with updates to compliment the information in the website.

Location
The below map is of Hillington Industrial Estate which is located to the south west of Glasgow between Glasgow City Center and the Town of Paisley.
The Yellow Dot on the map show’s the location of Bus World. Please note that access to Abercorn Avenue can only be gained from Edison Street.
